The base model comes with a potent V6 engine that makes 293 horsepower. Rear-wheel drive comes standard while four-wheel drive is available. As with the Overland, a four-wheel drive version of this car is available, and it will come the V8. Massaging front seats, lane-centering assist, quad-zone automatic climate control, traffic-sign recognition, intersection assist, driver-attention monitoring, a surround-view parking camera, and park assist. The optional Advanced ProTech Group IV package adds night-vision assist, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a head-up display.

Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve

At the top of the line, the Summit Reserve comes standard with four-wheel drive, while the V8 can be added. The hybrid engine has an EPA estimate of 82 MPGe. 

Touring

The Touring trim has front rain-sensitive windshield wipers, a heated steering wheel, a telescoping steering column, and 17-inch fully painted Tech Silver aluminum wheels. Storage features are a floor tray, full-length floor console, and lower instrument panel drawer. This trim comes with Uconnect 5 and a 10.1-inch display. 

Touring L

Standard features for the Touring L trim include 18-inch painted aluminum wheels, second and third-row retractable shades, and three-zone automatic temperature control. The Touring L trim has a six-speaker sound system with active noise cancellation and third-row Stow n Go 60/40 split bench seats. 

Limited

The Limited trim has a dual-plan panoramic sunroof with a power front and fixed rear, as well as 17-inch diamond cut wheels or 18-inch painted aluminum wheels. This trim has an eight-way power driver’s seat, eight-way power front seat, heated front seat, and Nappa leather-trimmed bucket seat. The Limited trim has Uconnect 5 NAV with a 10.1-inch display and integrated voice command. 

Pinnacle

The Pinnacle stands apart from other trim levels with details such as platinum chrome door handles, hands-free power sliding doors, and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels with Baltic Gray pockets, although the hybrid model has 18-inch wheels instead. This trim includes power-folding and power-adjustable heated mirrors with courtesy lamps, a supplemental turn indicator, and a Platinum Chrome exterior. A wireless charging pad is also standard.

Near Sherman, TX, there are some wonderful camping spots you’ll enjoy visiting. Whether your idea of a great camp experience involves roughing it in the wilds or having access to hot showers and a convenience store, our area has something that works.

Eisenhower State Park

For $20-23 a night, you can take an RV in, and there are 50 sites with full hookups and another 45 with electricity and water hookups but no sewer. All sites have picnic tables, fire rings, and nearby restrooms, and the pricier ones also have a lantern post as well. If you’re coming in a tent, for $17 a night you can have a spot with a lantern post, picnic table, tent pad, fire ring, close restrooms, and access to fresh water in the Elm Point area. Over at the Armadillo Hill or Fossil Ridge spots, you’ll pay slightly less at $15 a night.

All of these sites are by reservation only. There are overflow spots available for $12 a night that are first-come, first-served. Bear in mind that all the prices listed are in addition to the park entrance fee, which is $5 per adult as of 2023. Children are free. If you prefer to glamp it up just a bit, the park also has one cabin you can rent for $55 a night.

Burns Run West

Head to Burns Run West on Lake Texoma to camp, fish, hunt, and hike: and there’s plenty of room here. They have a wide variety of options, including RV sites for anywhere from $110 for a group site that offers electric hookups, to $24 for a standard electric single hookup. They have 117 campsites for families, and 105 of these have hookups. They’ve got vault toilets, showers, and drinking water, three dump stations, and a nearby playground for the kids, boat ramp for you, and beach and hiking at the Cross Timber trail for everyone.

Ray Roberts Lake State Park

Head west to get to Ray Roberts Lake State Park, which has lots of great hiking and biking options. They have a whopping 219 camp sites that offer electric and water hookups, all with access to nearby restrooms, outdoor grill or fire ring, and picnic table. There are also 123 more primitive campsites that are still decent walking distance from restrooms and have nearby water. There are also a limited number of equestrian sites with tie-ups for your horse.
